In this stage the certificate is submitted to the MEA after state verification. MEA will make a final verification. Subsequently, an apostille stamp from the Ministry of external affairs is pasted on the document. 

Since, the state level authentication method of apostille involves many departments, it will take around 20 – 30 working days to receive your apostilled document. 

SDM Attestation Method of Apostille for Bahrain

SDM attestation is a court process where a Sub divisional magistrate authenticates the originality of your document. Following are the steps involved in SDM method:

1.Notarization

In this initial step, a public notary verifies and authenticates your document for its originality and authenticity. 

2.SDM Authentication

In this method a sub divisional magistrate verifies and attests the document.

SDM method involves lesser stakeholders and thus you will get your document apostille within six to seven working days.

3. MEA Attestation and Apostille: In this step, the MEA India in Delhi will attest and and paste an apostille stamp on your documents to be submitted to Bharain.
