  • If your destination is in the Hague nation list, SDM attestation is the better option — it is faster and more affordable.
  • Exception countries such as Austria and Italy, even though they are Hague nations, require state attestation.
  • If your destination is not a Hague nation, state attestation is mandatory. MEA and Embassy attestations are required for countries outside the Hague Convention.
